Journalists blocked from Kashaka’s case

Journalists have been blocked from covering a case in which Convicted former permanent secretary in the Local government ministry John Muhanguzi Kashaka appealed against the decision of a single justice of Court of Appeal who denied him bail last month. Court of Appeal is expected to make its ruling on whether to release Kashaka on bail or uphold the single judge’s decision. Journalists who turned up to cover the ruling were on Tuesday morning blocked by police without any explanations or motive.Details to follow
