Five judges who will decide the fate of Age Limit law

Five Justices of the Constitutional Court will on Thursday give their individual judgments in the consolidated constitutional petition they heard in Mbale High Court in April.
The judges include Deputy Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo, Remmy Kasule, Elizabeth Musoke, Cheborion Barishaki and Kenneth Kakuru.

Their judgment will be based on three issues and they are;

Age limits. Whether or not to remove the presidential age limit of 75 years as maximum and 35 years as minimum.

Extending term. Whether or not to extend the current term of Members of Parliament and President from five years to seven years.

Term limits. Whether the process culminating in the restoration of the two-term limit for the President was unconstitutional.
