Kampala. Prince David Wasajja, 50, a brother to Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi and wife Marion Nankya, 30, last Friday welcomed a baby girl, a second born, three years after their marriage in 2013.
Yesterday, the Kabaka paid a brief visit to the couple and their new born at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala.
Speaking at the bedside of his wife Ms Nankya, Prince Wassajja expressed joy upon receiving the princess who was named in memory of her grandmother Sarah Ndagire.

“On behalf of my wife and the royal family, I am glad to inform you that God blessed us with a princess last Friday at 2pm. We thank all those who have come to bless us with gifts,” Prince Wassajja told journalists after the couple posed for pictures with the Kabaka.

He thanked the Kabaka for his continued support towards their family.
The princess follows Prince Edward Mbogo, who was born at the same hospital in January 2014, and named in memory of his late great grandfather Sir Edward Mutesa II and Nuuhu Mbogo, a renowned Buganda Prince and leader of Islam in Buganda. Mbogo was Kabaka Mwanga’s brother.
Prince Wasajja married Marion Nankya in April 2013 at Rubaga Cathedral.
