The latest development coming from supreme court indicates that Justice George Kanyeihamba has stormed out of court claiming that his life has been threatened and his application was tampered with.

This twist in events was followed by the decision by the expelled MPs to dump Kanyeihamba from their legal team. Kanyeihamba now demands over shs 400M in compensation.

Caleb Alaka and Peter Walubiri now lead the legal team representing the expelled MPs after Kanyeihamba was "fired".

The four expelled are seeking to temporarily halt a Constitutional Court order kicking them out of Parliament until their appeal is heard and determined.

This comes after constitutional court ordered the parliament speaker Ms Rebecca Kadaga, to stop the MPs from accessing and or participating in parliamentary activities.

The court said the MPs; Mr Theodore Ssekikubo (Lwemiyaga), Mr Muhammed Nsereko (Kampala Central), Mr Wilfred Niwagaba (Ndorwa East) and Mr Barnabas Tinkasiimire (Buyaga) are now seeking interim orders stopping the Speaker from throwing them out of Parliament and the Electoral Commission from conducting a by-election in the respective constituencies.
