Kazinda’s case adjourned to April 3

The Anti- Corruption Court has adjourned the case in which the Interdicted Principal Accountant in the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr Godfrey Kazinda is facing charges of forgery to April 3.

Justice David Wangutusi adjourned the case in because he had to attend a requiem service for Justice Constance Byamugisha, who died on Thursday, at All Saints Cathedral, Kampala.

Mr Kazinda is accused of forging the signature of the OPM Permanent Secretary to illegally withdraw money from government accounts.

He faces 29 charges of abuse of office, forgery and unlawful possession of government stores.
