Kibuli Senior Secondary School's long serving head teacher, Hajj Ali K. Mugagga, has been sent on forced leave over allegations of sexual harassment.

According to the notice posted on their official facebook page, Hajjat Mastulah Nambajjwe, who has been the deputy head teacher - welfare, will be serving as the acting head teacher with effect from January 24, 2018.

“Effective 24th January 2018, Hajjat Mastulah Nambajjwe will be the Acting Head Teacher. This will be pending the Board of Governors’ meeting following the handover by the former headmaster Hajj Mugagga Ali hand over,” the management said.

The management added that all activities remain normal and the school will resume as per the start of term.
“We regret all the inconvenience that will be caused by this development,” they said.

There have been reports that Mr Mugagga was sent on forced leave over incompetence and allegations of sexual harassment, among others.

He however, vehemently refuted all the allegations when contacted by this reporter and termed them as malicious allegations aimed at tarnishing his name.

"If there is anyone having all the evidence, bring it out and we table it in court. Why is it that I don't know those girls? I am not sure whether those girls even exist. If the ministry has issued a letter, let someone show it to me. Kibuli S.S is good and work is being continued. If they claim that these things have been happening for all those years, why do they have to come out now? That is just malice," he said.
