The Holy Father Pope Francis is expected to leave the country ahead of his expected mission in Central African Republic, his last African pastoral visit.
President Museveni and Gulu Archbishop John Baptist Odama, to officially bid farewell to Pope Francis at a ceremony that will last for 15 minutes at Entebbe Airport.
7:40am: Diplomats, Journalists arrive at the Entebbe Airport VIP section ahead of Pope's departure.
7:43pm: Military mounts guard of honor for S.Sudan president Salva Kiir Mayardit who also heads out ahead of Pope Francis.
8:10am: And here comes Salva Kiir Mayardit of South Sudan, he boards Kenya Airlines after a brief guard of honour and off he heads to Juba.
8:30am: The Shepherd One ( Pope Francis') official airline is set, the pope is on his way, his convoy seen around Zana along Entebbe Road.

9:04am: Pope Francis arrives at Entebbe International Airport VVIP lounge.
9:11am: Those to bid farewell to Pope are Museveni, Archbishops Odama, Cyprian Lwanga, PM Rugunda, and Papal Nuncio Michael Blume
9:12am: Pope Francis' farewell ceremony underway, bishops and his entourage head to the waiting Shepherd One.
9:14am: The band plays tune as pope walks to exit door, sadly for Uganda, he will be soon in Central African Republic.
9:35am: The pope carries his bag, he previously said it contains water, bible and rosary.
9:38am: The papal wave, the pope heads for the door, not yet closed...slowly it comes, door closes.

9:40am: Passenger bridge still on shepherd one, the Pope is still around, only that he will be off in no time from now.

9:57am: Oh oh oh, they all wave, shepherd one determined to hit the runway, a few minutes and he will be off.
10:00am: The pope is off.
