Pr Ngabo, Lukwago, Nyanzi produced in court over FDC defiance campaign

Kampala city Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, Forum for Democratic Change weekly prayers lead pastor Happy Ngabo and the suspended Makerere Institute of Social Research fellow Dr Stella Nyanzi have been arraigned in court over defiance campaign.
Mr Lukwago, pastor Ngabo and two others spent a night in Naggalama Police Station in Mukono district after being arrested on Tuesday at FDC party headquarters where they had gone to attend prayers.
Dr Nyanzi and over 25 others were held in Katwe Police cells where they spent a night. The other 11 suspects also arrested on Tuesday over FDC prayers spent a night in Kira Division Police cells.
They have been arraigned before Makindye magistrate’s court. Daily Monitor is yet to understand the charges levelled against the suspects by the state.
