MP Kipoi gets bail after two months in jail

Bubulo West MP Tonny Nsubuga Kipoi has been released on a Shs10 million cash bail after spending two months on remand.

Mr Kipoi is facing charges of alleged treason and concealment of treason, the charges is he facing jointly with seven UPDF soldiers who are still in prison.
The charges will be mentioned on February 26.

Mr Kipoi was ordered to deposit his passports and a land title in court.
He was also ordered to report to the Commandant of the Police Special Investigations Unit in Kireka every after two weeks.
