The winners of the Monitor and KFM’s “4days3nights” Easter promotion have received their packages from respective sponsors.
The function took place at the Monitor Publications Limited (MPL) head offices in Kampala yesterday where 11 winners were unveiled and were handed their respective ‘treats’.
The promotion that has been running since last month sought to reward Sunday Monitor readers with Easter packages.
Winners were required to tell memorable Easter experiences with their families that would be published in the Sunday Monitor’s Life Magazine or posted on the KFM Facebook wall.
MPL marketing manager-print Charity Byarugaba said the promotion attracted a number of experiences, a testimony of the rich family values that the company is proud to be associated with.
“We are excited about the feedback from the participants and as a brand, we are glad to be part of the bonds that strengthen families and traditions,” she said.
MPL partnered with Geolodges, Great Lakes Safaris, Century Cinema and Kololo Courts Hotel where winners will be treated to life telling experiences during the Easter season.
The overall winner will be treated to an all-expenses paid trip to Simba Safari Camp.
Two winners will spend the weekend at The RainForest Lodge in Mabira, while two other winners won a VIP treat at Kololo Courts Hotel. Nile Village Hotel in Jinja will also host two winners.
Two winners will be treated to lunch delicacies at Nawab Restaurant and another winner will watch a movie at Century Cinemax.

“This promotion has been a success, we are amazed and look forward to reaching out to readers in a way that impacts their lives. Do not miss your copy of Life magazine every Sunday,” said Justine Juliet Rukundo, the Sunday Monitor’s Life magazine editor.
Ms Phylis Namuwoya, the K-Connect presenter thanked KFM listeners for participating and urged them to stay tuned for exciting, informative, and inspirational programming.
Dr Martharine Nakazibwe, the overall winner, could not hide her excitement.
“I learnt about the promotion after reading about it in the Life magazine. We have had many experiences as family, so finding one to write about was very easy. I simply took the shot and also got photographs from our family album,” she said.
