Police has arrested MPs Theodore Ssekikubo, Muhamad Nsereko and Muwanga Kivumbi. The three legislators are currently held at Old kampala police Station, yet to be charged.

Ssekikubo and colleagues were intercepted by the police as they made their way through Kiseka Market to Parkyard, allegedly to attend the Buganda Kingdom fundraising drive.

Earlier, the police had fired teargas to disperse the supporters of the expelled MPs who were celebrating the supreme court ruling around the same area. Two police men were injured in the process.
