An accident on Monday morning claimed the life of a recent Makerere University Business school graduate.

Known to her friends as Becky and to her social media family as Becky Kakooza, the 24 year old Rebecca Nampijja Kakooza was on a boda boda when a taxi swept her away to her death.

Ms Rebecca graduated in January this year with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. According to a condolence message from Watoto Church (where she prayed) on her Facebook wall, she was knocked while on the way to her first job. Although she was rushed to Mulago Hospital, Becky was too close to the hands of death- she breathed her last.

There will be a vigil for Becky tonight at her parents’ home in Buloba and a funeral service later at watoto in Bbira.

By Monday evening, a stream of condolence messages had started pouring in on Rebecca's wall.

Nokrach Robinson Hyson Abwola: Today we weep your demise but heaven surely rejoices. Am sure you are smiling and singing songs of praises with the angels above.

You inspired me and made me grow in my faith.

RIP REBECCA TILL WE MEET AGAIN ON THE OTHER SIDE
