Three members of independent presidential candidate Amama Mbabazi’s security team have been admitted after sustaining serious injuries in a car crash.
According to eye witnesses, 10 of Mr Mbabazi’s security team members were travelling from Moroto district to Kaabong district, where he is expected to hold his rallies when the vehicle, a super custom, they were travelling in veered off the road and overturned. The driver was reportedly over speeding.

“No one showed visible injuries at first but three of them collapsed and were rushed to a nearby hospital back to Moroto,” said the former Director-General of Uganda's External Security Organisation Mr David Pulko, now working as Mr Mbabazi’s campaign mobiliser.
However, by press time, police was yet to identify the victims.
