Monitor rewards vendors

At least 2,500 vendors were rewarded with various items.

Kampala- Monitor Publications Limited has commended its vendors for their selfless dedication towards selling the Daily Monitor newspaper and its products.

While handing over Christmas packages to vendors, Mr Deus Turyamureeba, the MPL distribution manager, described the package as a token of appreciation for work rendered to the company during the year.

“You are part of our family. You have worked hard amidst challenges. We want to share this token with your families,” Mr Turyamureeba said.
MPL products include the Daily Monitor, Saturday Monitor, Sunday Monitor and Ennyanda. Others are radios; Kfm and Ddembe. The Monitor Digital and Business Directory form part of the products.

At least 2,500 vendors countrywide were given Christmas packages.
The MPL circulation manager, Mr Justus Katungi, said vendors are a valuable link in the chain of the publication; “And it is very important to thank them for their work.”
