NRM’s Lumumba mourns party supporters who died en route from Museveni rally

The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) Secretary General Justine Kasule Lumumba on Friday attended the burial of Timothy Ndiwalana, one of the two youthful NRM supporters who perished in a motor accident as they returned home from the NRM campaign rally in Jinja.

The Secretary General also paid a courtesy visit to the family of late Musana Nicholas who was travelling with Ndiwalana in the same car.

The two died from Iwawu along Jinja-Iganga road on Tuesday March 13th. They were returning from a campaign rally in Jinja addressed by President Yoweri Museveni.

Musana a son to Rev. Bulinza Nabwiso was laid to rest at Kasolo village in Bulamogi Sub County, Iganga district.

Speaking to family members and mourners at Ntinda village, Bulamogi Sub County yesterday where Ndiwalana was buried, SG Lumumba delivered condolences from the National Party Chairman and the Secretariat.

"I knew both Ndiwalana Timothy and Musana Nicholas and I treasured their loyalty to NRM. They have gone too early and we shall miss them and their commitment towards party work ", she said.

SG Lumumba also attended the burial of Mzee Azimavesi Ntozo, father to Namutumba District NRM Chairperson of the entrepreneurship league.

At all  these functions, the NRM head of the Secretariat was in company of Mr. Nathan Igeme Nabeeta, Hajji Abubakar Walubi (Iganga NRM chairperson), Hajji Othman  Abdunoor (Deputy Katikiro in the Kyabazinga government) and former MP Hon Milton Muwuma among others.
