NRM wins majority seats in five new districts

The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) won nine out of the ten most top seats competed for in the newly created districts.
NRM took all the District seats in Pakwach, Namisindwa, Kyotera, Rukiga and Bunyangabu during Thursday elections.

“We only lost the District Woman MP seat in Kyotera,” said Mr Rogers Mulindwa, the NRM communications officer.
