Residents of Nebbi Town are scared of travelling at night following recent attacks by gangs which rob and attempt to kill anyone on the way.
The suspects are reportedly in areas where there are no security lights.
Bishop Orombi Road stretching to Afere, Abongo, and Jupagwok roads are some of the most dangerous places.

Mr Sylvester Ogen, a victim, says he was attacked on his way home at 10pm near Afere Primary School.

“The youth had sticks, clubs and knives. I survived after I overcame them. They wanted to grab my cash and bicycle,” Mr Ogen said.
Locals say the groups spread in different locations to beat security.
The district police commander, Mr Maxwell Ogwal, has warned youth against engaging in crime.

Recently, police fired bullets in the air in attempt to arrest youth on Abongo Road.
