One arrested as Katatumba is evicted from Shumuk

Days after after the Pakistani Consul to Uganda His Excellency Bonny Katatumba regained ownership of Blacklines House following a protracted court battle, another order has been issued to have him evicted this morning.
This follows an order that was issued by Ms Irene Akankwasa, the deputy registrar in charge of Execution and Bailiffs Division at the High Court, which set aside the order, issued on February 6 and directed the immediate halting of the eviction.
The new order grants ownership of the Blacklines house to Shumuk who was evicted last week by the same Bonny Katatumba.

By the time of the story, Katatumba's property was being thrown out and banners reading "Katatumba Suites" torn down. Apparently no one is allowed in the building except the police and court bailiffs.
Meanwhile, one person has been arrested for triggering his gun in course of the eviction. Central police station DPC, Denis Namuwooza says the arrested is a security guard who fired in the air as the eviction process went on.
