Supporters of the Opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Tuesday visited the former party president Kizza Besigye in Luzira Prison where he’s being held on treason charges.
Shortly after the visit, the 12 member group led by the newly appointed Leader of the Opposition Winnie Kiiza prayed for Dr Besigye, a four time challenger of President Yoweri Museveni.
Besigye not happy with the arrests of opposition MPs and supporters, and their delayed trial,” said Ms Kiiza while addressing the media shortly after the visit at Luzira Prison.
