Entebbe.

Police at Kasenyi Landing Site in Katabi Town Council have discovered a human body on a truck, registration number UAW 994W.

The discovery was made after fishermen at the landing site tipped police of a strange wrapping of what looked like a human being in a black polythene bag being carried off a boat onto a waiting truck that was transporting silver fish.

Police discovered the body during a stop and search of the truck that was leaving the landing site.

While talking to Daily Monitor Entebbe Division Police Commander Mr Mission Samuel confirmed the discovery of the body on the truck between sacks of silver fish. He said that police offered decent transport for the body after establishing there was no foul play.

"The people transporting the body had proper documentation allowing them to transport the body and a postmortem report that showed the deceased died of natural causes from Kyana in Kalangala District,” he said.
