A policeman formerly attached the Flying Squad Unit (FSU) has been arrested over allegations of kidnap.
Police constable John Kalume together and his alleged accomplice one Moses Mukiibi are said to have kidnapped Micheal Kisinga alias Skater on Friday evening from Bwaise Growers.
The duo allegedly abducted Skater and started demanding Shs2 million ransom from his wife.

Kisinga's wife reported to Kawempe Police Station and the suspects were arrested from around Bwaise in a tinted van.

“Kawempe police has had him (Skater) on their watch list for persons wanted in regards to previous crimes of aggregated robbery,” reads part of the police statement.

He reportedly told police that the duo kidnapped him because of a previous deal that went wrong, hence their Shs2 million demand.
