President commends born-again civil servants

MBARARA.
President Museveni has said his approach of deploying born-again employees to serve in state organs has paid off because of the honest way in which they do their work.

Mr Museveni said he has been scouting for born again educated young people from across the country to serve in the army and civil service, adding that they have created a difference where they have been deployed.

Mr Museveni was on Sunday speaking at the thanksgiving ceremony for Maj Edith Nakalema, his private secretary, at her home in Bubaare Sub-county, Mbarara. Maj Nakalema who is a born-again Christian, joined the army in 1999.
