A group of youth roasting fresh maize near the boundary of Echuya forest reserve at Kanaba in Kisoro District. The National Forest Authority (NFA) supervisor for Echuya forest Mr Herbert Turyahabwa said that the authority plans to ban such activities for fear of fire spreading into the protected forest. Dr Kizza Besigye’s car parked at Jinja Road Police Station where he was detained shortly after he left Makindye Magistrates Court. On the roof of the car are fresh flowers given to him by his supporters in Induistrial Area.
