UPDF senior officer dies in road accident

A senior UPDF officer attached to Nakasongola Air Defence Unit has died in a motor accident. 

Col David Katorogo died in the accident on Wednesday at about 8:40 am Kagavu village on the Mityana -Mubende Highway.

 Col Katorogo was driving a Toyota Landcruiser Reg No: H4DF 970.

He died on the spot.

His wife, Ms Beatrice Asimwe, his unidentified son, and Mr Masin Guma, the bodyguard sustained  

serious injuries. They are admitted to Mubende Referral Hospital.

 The Police Traffic and Road Safety Directorate Spokesperson, Mr Charles Ssebambulidde, says Katorogo lost control of the vehicle which veered off the road and overturned.
