Speaking to Daily Monitor, Dr Mutyabule who is also the CEO of Pan Dental Surgery said his success will pave way for more dentists across the region to be trained and equipped with skills to use Cerec technology which deals with restoration of broken and lost teeth.
“It is now possible to have a crown and bridge work done in Uganda in a matter of hours compared to several days or weeks which we used to take in the past. Therefore, in one visit, a patient can have full treatment,” he said.
With the technology, he added, the artificial crowns can do as much as the natural teeth ranging from having normal bites, permanent fixing, same texture, tone and colour to bone thickness and hardness.
