The failure by most the husbands to attend church services and family chores has been blamed on women who take themselves to be cleansed and born again on the surface but when filled with extortion and self-indulgence on the inside.
According to Enid Kapson, a wife to mission coordinator south Ankole diocese, women must first cleanse themselves inside if they are to put their husbands in the right direction.

Ms Kapson made the remarks on March 22 as guest preacher during Mary’s day service after the enrollment of 11 new Mother’s Union members at All Saints Church Ntungamo Municipality.
Mothers Union was founded in 1876 after Mary Sumner, a clergyman’s wife living in England, became concerned about how local mothers related their Christian faith to family life. She lived to see it become a worldwide organization, now with millions of members. It arrived in Uganda in 1908.

Ms Kapson asked women to stand firm in their faith and fulfill their obligations as mothers of the nation.
She also tasked men to always support their wives in church and family chores if development is to flourish in the home.
On behalf of men, Nuwamanya Banex the principal Accountant officer Ntungamo Municipality appealed to women to be repentant and true Christians.
The 11 newly enrolled Mother union members were welcomed and confirmed by Rev Can Charles Kapson. Over 4m shillings was raised towards the buying of Mothers Union container.
