KENYA POLLS: Jubilee urges IEBC to hasten voting process

Jubilee Alliance on Monday called on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to fast track the voting process in Isiolo North Constituency following delays to deliver ballot boxes to various polling stations.

Jubilee spokesperson Arnolda Shiundu said that 26 polling centres in Laisamis Constituency had cases of voters missing their names in the registers.

She also said that in Nairobi County, some polling centres have issued ballot papers that have not been stamped by the IEBC.

She appealed to IEBC to ask polling clerks to issue stamped ballot papers and to reject those that have been cast without the marks.

Jubilee also complained that their stronghold areas have slow moving queues and urged IEBC to extend voting process past 5pm
