My prophecy: Yoweri Museveni will not be on the ballot in 2021

In a certain country called Rwagasabo, the population rallied and forced the country’s bicameral parliament ‘to create a situation’ where their royal president would be ‘forced’ to continue ruling the country.
The spectacle of Parliament authorities receiving petitions from people of all walks of life, including convicts, who were legally not allowed to participate in national civics like elections, was so overwhelming. Even President King Rugambwa wa Rugamba, known for being a hard man, accepted to be forced by the people to continue ruling the country. To cut the long story short, the parliament amended the most entrenched article of the Constitution of Rwagasabo; and as I write this, President King Rugambwa wa Rugamba still reigns.
Some people are born with luck while others work hard to earn it! The story is different in the Republic Kingdom of Zamunda. In a kind of subtle, yet brazen manner, president King Dr Leopold Nyarwino Ruhemba gw’Enjura, is rallying the parliament of Zamunda. President King Dr Leopold Nyarwino is heavily leaning on parliament to create a situation where the people (the constitution) would allow that he continues ruling the country. The joke in Zamunda now is that president King Leopold Nyarwino Ruhemba gw’Enjura is trying to work hard to con an early Christmas gift from Santa Claus.
Elders and religious leaders have been challenged to speak out against Mr Museveni’s desire to change the Constitution and remain in power. And in a recent interview, I threw this challenge at former Principal Judge Canon James Ogoola (and now chairperson of The Elders Forum of Uganda). I must say he cleverly wriggled himself out of it, but...
Now, religious leaders (under Inter-Religious Council of Uganda) came out on Monday with what looked like a moderated position. They suggested that the issue of the removal of age limit should be subjected to a referendum.
I have worked with religious leaders and elders before. I am familiar with the debates that take place among them before they make such statements. And I can bet that the position must have been reached after more than one lengthy meet. But dear religious leaders, Ugandans don’t want your referendum. Ugandans are not even interested in debating the removal or retention of the age limit. Ugandans just don’t want anyone to touch what is left of their Constitution. Period. Alor, ne touchez pas (so, don’t touch it)!
A referendum would just give Mr Museveni of lifeline and maybe save him from the parasitic middlemen called MPs. It is not that Ugandans don’t want elections or to sort issues kigenteleman in national referenda. The issue is that Ugandans don’t believe their votes would count in an election in which Mr Museveni is a candidate or would personally benefit from the results of such an election. Religious leaders would have asked whether there is a need for removing the age limit. The suggestion of a referendum will be viewed as an act of acquiescence.
I come here to share a prophecy whose vision I had in my shrine in Kiburara. The ancestors appeared to me and told me to tell Ugandans thus: Mr Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will not appear on the ballot of 2021. Whether the Constitution is changed or whether the “magye” supports whoever or whatever, Mr Museveni will not appear on the ballot of 2021.
That’s my prophecy. This is our prophecy. This is Uganda’s prophecy. Those in whose favour the prophecy works should pray with me. And those this prophecy works against, should pray and thank God for his blessings. Amen! I make this prophecy public so Prophet Elvis Mbonye doesn’t claim to have prophesied it before me.
