In Summary

Asians of Ugandan origin have also contributed a lot to our economy and are part of this country. They too deserve a parliamentary seat.

I would like to point out the marginalisation in Parliament in regards to special interest groups, UPDF is represented in Parliament, why are Uganda Police Force and Uganda Prisons not represented in Parliament?

The Police also contributes a lot to national security and they deserve equal opportunity.
If workers are represented, why can’t the unemployed also be represented in Parliament?

By having unemployed citizens represented in Parliament, the issue of unemployment will be taken seriously not only as a campaign tool for politicians.

Asians of Ugandan origin have also contributed a lot to our economy and are part of this country. They too deserve a parliamentary seat.
I would like to request the government and the parliamentary commission to create a Parliament which meets the needs of Ugandans without segregation.
