Children’s welfare needs to be debated

In Summary
However, I am of the view that the welfare of children is cross-cutting and should therefore be considered carefully.
As the Marriage and Divorce Bill debate goes on, my concern goes to the children’s wellbeing. So far, the ‘hot potato’ in the Bill has been cohabitation.
However, I am of the view that the welfare of children is cross-cutting and should therefore be considered carefully. Their welfare should be a priority not only to couples who are cohabiting but to all the couples under the various types of marriages.
Children born out of Christian , civil, Hindu, Bahai and the polygamous marriages or even outside any kind of marriage deserve maximum care and protection .
Any marriage should take into account children in case there is divorce.
