Deal with poor service delivery at the passport office

I write this letter with disatisfaction with the kind of service at the passport office at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The service delivery process is one of the worst this country has and will continue to have unless the major issues are addressed.

These include: Time taken to retrieve both renewed and brand new passports, the errors made in name spellings, the time taken to hand out the passports (should start in the morning not at 2pm), mix up in communication between issuance office and delivery office which causes one to go back and forth yet the passport is already there and the slow handling of complaints.

It can take one as long as three months to get a passport in contrast to the three weeks they claim it takes. People lose days and weeks following up their passports.
The relevant authorities should address these issues to ensure better service delivery.
