Embrace development in Amuria District

Government’s plan to establish a barracks and a livestock multiplication site in Okunguru, Kapelebyong County, Amuria District must not be misunderstood. This move will drive growth and infrastructural development and in turn create employment opportunities for the locals.

The Land Policy which was approved on February 7, addresses issues like illegal evictions, encroachment on private and government land among others. The government is working towards enforcing this policy, not to contradict it. Spreading rumours and undressing before the parliamentary committee for Infrastructure does not help. The Government’s motive is to create development for all Ugandans, Amuria inclusive!
