How can I get my driving permit from Face Technologies?

When I applied for an extension of my permit last December and sensed that the permit would delay, I sought guidance from one of their counters.

I applied for a driving licence and paid all the required fees but four weeks later, my driving permit is not ready. Can someone tell me how best I can get my driving permit from Face Technologies, now that I currently work in a neighbouring country where it is complicated for non-citizens to get a permit? Worse still, I cannot find any clear postal, e-mail or telephone addresses of Face Technologies. It is very difficult to understand why they do not have a website!

Among other things, I was advised to write an authority letter explaining reasons for not being able to collect the permit myself, details of the appointed agent and a signed copy of the temporary permit that I had been given.

To my dismay, all these were rejected by Face Technologies when my agent turned up at their office. My agent was simply told that they do not have time to see the authority letter and the other documents. She was informed that the only way I can get the permit is by travelling back to Kampala.

What makes it impossible to authorise an agent to collect a driving permit? Why is the contact address of Face Technologies not availed to clients?
