In Summary

Some schools lack other facilities like latrines posing serious health hazards. I do not think that pupils in such schools fail exams because they are naturally dull, they fail because of the poor study environment.

I am grateful for the measures authorities have taken to make sure that schools meet the required operational standards. It is true that the population is growing and that we need more schools to ensure that education is accessible to all. However, this should not be at the expense of quality, health and safety.

Today, many schools in rural areas do not have enough facilities. They do not have enough classrooms and have to conduct lessons under trees, Those with classrooms lack furniture, there are few teachers and they may not necessarily be qualified.

Some schools lack other facilities like latrines posing serious health hazards. I do not think that pupils in such schools fail exams because they are naturally dull, they fail because of the poor study environment.
How can students attend regular lessons during the rainy season if they study under tree sheds?

I hereby commend the concerned authorities for inspecting schools. Give a child a virtuous education environment and they will grow into a responsible citizen.
