In Summary

May Nelson Mandela’s soul rest in eternal peace. We will never forget your tireless struggle that brought freedom to our brothers and sisters in South Africa. We pray that all the remaining serving leaders follow in your footstep.

Following the death of former South African President Nelson Mandela, former Libyan President Muamar Gaddaffi and Mubutu Seseseko of then Zaire, I picked a few lessons that can be useful for our current leaders. Some of the leadership principles these leaders practices during their time of leadership can be reactivated to life when one passes away. Judge for your self how Nelson Mandela, Gaddaffi and Mubutu Seseseko’s deaths were treated by the world.

This is a simple lesson that any serving president can learn from and do what is right and beneficial to the people they are leading. You either leave a legacy for the generation to benefit from or choose Gadaffi and Mubutu’s ways and die a disgrace where no one wishes to remember you.

May Nelson Mandela’s soul rest in eternal peace. We will never forget your tireless struggle that brought freedom to our brothers and sisters in South Africa. We pray that all the remaining serving leaders follow in your footstep.
