Our leaders can help unemployed youth

The current national unemployment status among the youth and graduates can be addressed if Uganda’s political and business leadership can perform their patriotic roles and social responsibility.
It is unbelievable that in this country, there are people with all the capacity and contacts to raise funds and set up charitable foundations to address social issues such as health, education, poverty, food security, child and youth development programmes but they are not doing anything!
A big number of young graduates come out of the universities every year with enough skills and hope to find jobs, but end up frustrated.
Our leaders should mobilise these young people and help them form organisations to address employment and social service delivery issues.
