President Museveni is a respectful and exemplary leader

I write in response to the President’s letter (Museveni responds to Besigye interview) that appeared in the Daily Monitor of February 7.
After reading the President’s letter as he responded to Dr Besigye’s Interview, for a moment I took a heavy breath and contemplated about the blessing we have as a nation of such a well-bred, understanding, clued-up, but most importantly ,respectful leader.
I love the fact that each time the President mentioned Dr Besigye’s name, he made it a point to incorporate the title “Dr”. As a youth and a patriotic citizen, I look at this as a way forward to paramount democracy.
It gives me a vivid view of how possible it is for the two leaders (politically at cross roads) to “take the weight off their shoulders” at a round table and have their differences settled or probably thrash-out issues jointly with the aim of taking this country forward.
It appears to me as though the two have a lot (developmental issues) to share with this nation, but have instead given room to ignorance, small-talk and uncertainty among their people.
Otherwise I am so humbled by the level of respect expressed by the President.
