Recruit nuns to run Kyambogo University
Posted Wednesday, May 15 2013 at 01:00
The hurdles that have engulfed Kyambogo University need serious redress. It seems to some of us that the university is being run as a business by a few individuals with no supervisory bodies to promote checks and balances for accountability and quality service delivery.
The government should consider recruiting catholic nuns to run this institution. From the advent of formal education in Uganda, schools run by Catholic nuns such as Namagunga, Trinity College Nabingo , Aboke girls, etc, have never experienced the kind of storm we are experiencing in Kyambogo University today.
Nuns are God-fearing , promote others above self and are not materialistic. Should government choose to consider Reverend Sisters to head Kyambogo University, the confusion we are seeing today shall be history.
