Teachers need ICT training

I appeal to the government to train all the teachers. That way, it will be much easier to adopt e-learning methods in schools

By Harriet Ayugi,

I went to some schools where “digital hubs” are set up by the British Council under the “Badiliko” project as one of the ways to promote ICT in government-aided schools. Thanks to the concerned parties for creating such an amazing ICT platform! However, my concern is, some of these computer laboratories are redundant or underutilised because some of the teachers are computer illiterate. I appeal to the government to train all the teachers. That way, it will be much easier to adopt e-learning methods in schools.
