Tighten security at universities

The country is on high alert following recent terror attacks in Kenya. Universities should improve on security as some university guards do not check people entering university premises thoroughly. More electronic bomb detectors should be provided at all entry points of universities to ensure that whoever enters the premises is checked.
Students should report suspicious individuals around the campuses and also listen and pay attention to warnings on terror threats .
It is the role of the university management to ensure safety for the students while at university despite police’s efforts to ensure safety for all citizens.
