This country will never make any positive strides in development without substantial involvement of women.

This Women’s Day, we must advocate for all women and girls to be treated with dignity. There should be no infringement on women’s rights that goes unpunished.

They should not be treated as slaves or objects of pleasure. Cultural practices that keep women uneducated and instead encourage harm like FGM should be banned and those responsible should be incarcerated.

This country will never make any positive strides in development without substantial involvement of women. You educate a woman, you educate a nation.
