West Nile should not be included in MPs’ secession campaign

In Summary
The people of West Nile would rather lobby for better and improved service delivery from the government instead of demanding for secession.
I am disturbed by some Members of Parliament from northern Uganda who have resurrected the secession campaign. As a loyal citizen of this country, I totally disagree with them and I also believe the people of West Nile are not in for such cheap popularity.
The people of West Nile would rather lobby for better and improved service delivery from the government instead of demanding for secession. The MPs calling for this separation should not include West Nile in their initiative. West Nile will continue lobbying for better services from the government. We thank the government for Nyagak Dam and Muni University but we also ask the government to bring more development to West Nile.
The 9th Parliament has greatly disappointed Ugandans. Many of them are simply excited about being in Parliament instead of legislating on critical issues that affect the population. They move from one issue to another without reaching conclusions, they dodge Plenary sessions and yet they are paid.
Why should they then ask KCCA councillors to refund sitting allowances yet they also sign for sitting allowances for no work done?
