Workers’ MP should do more

I have heard, read and watched many stories about torture of workers in different organisations but the workers’ MP has never brought up this subject for debate in Parliament.
I have been following the story of Mr Kassim Suuna, a former employee of Mukwano Industries Ltd. The TV footage of him being tortured by police officers was very disturbing. We have heard many of our brothers and sisters working in private companies complaining about poor working conditions. Many of them are mistreated by their employers and paid poor salaries yet their employers make abnormal profits.
I request the workers’ MP to be more vigilant and table the needs of the constituents he represents.
