KAMPALA. After getting promoted to the top tier National Basketball League in 2013, City Oilers set themselves a two year target to reach the top of the domestic game.
But as a result of their meticulous planning, that happened a lot earlier than expected as they clinched their first domestic league title on their maiden appearance in 2013.
They have since gone on to claim four straight championships with a fifth final against KIU Titans just a couple of weeks away.
While there has been no set target because of the opposition at hand, the City Oilers clearly appear on a mission to make another statement this time on the continent.
