Amoding in good stead as FNL tips off

In Summary

Basketball. Decorated star Amoding will captain an FNL side this evening.

There is no doubt that Maureen Amoding is one of the best Ugandan women basketball players. A former Most Valuable Player, Amoding has never got a chance to lead a team in the past two editions of Friday Night Lights (FNL) basketball bonanza.

But following a decision by the organisers to include two women teams, the Uganda Christian University (UCU) women’s team shooting guard will lead her own side code-named Team Amoding in the season opener.
Team Amoding, however, face a massive debut against Team Komakech in the second game of the night at YMCA tonight. Team LK4, captained by Isaac Lugudde, is expected to be a showbiz affair with several social elites.
