KAMPALA- Kezekia Sseggwanga Musisi has been named the Nile Special/USPA Legendary Award winner for the year 2013.
The 86-year-old veteran sports administrator will receive the accolade at the Sports Personality of the Year Gala due Saturday.

“It a reward and recognition for my devotion to sports, especially football, that I have served almost all my life,” Musisi said after receiving the news.
And Musisi will join a cast of people like former Cranes captain Jimmy Kirunda, 1972 Olympic gold medalist John Akii-Bua, Professor Era Mugisha and former boxer Ayub Kalule, who have won this accolade before.

Musisi’s recognition is based on his tireless services towards the development of sports in the country and the Cecafa region.

Now confined to a wheelchair after his left leg was amputated following a road accident in December 2008, Musisi was influential in the formation Cecafa.
