KAMPALA. KIU Titans made another fast start to the regular season matching leaders Betway Power for long periods in the first round of the National Basketball League (NBL).

But two defeats in the previous three games have greatly altered that sequence with their 8-3 record leaving them in fourth position ahead of today’s game against Ndejje University at YMCA court.

The manner of defeat in their previous game, a 67-65 reverse to Power last Friday will particularly have them eager to return to winning ways
The Titans missed 60% of their shots on the free-throw line including two by Ethienne Kazungu in the final five seconds to succumb to defeat.

They play a Ndejje side that is bottom by virtue of having played at least two games less than the rest of the teams in the Tusker Lite sponsored division.
