Kampala.

For close to two and half years, many a promoter have tried albeit unsuccessfully to schedule a rematch between Moses Golola and Titus Tugume.

None however could have felt more pain than Tugume who has had to live with the taunts of being knocked out in one minute and two seconds of their initial East and Central African kickboxing title fight at Freedom City. “It was just a lucky punch that he would struggle to replicate,” Tugume also a UPDF soldier, has continuously stated.

Fortunately for him, he seems to have landed another bite at the cherry with a date for the much anticipated rematch finally being set.

“We have agreed in principal on February 14th as the date for the fight. The other small issues surrounding the fight should be a mere formality ,” confirmed Uganda Kickboxing Federation president Hassan Ssekirime. The contest organized by Sudiman Entertainment is expected to take place at the Lugogo MTN Arena. And like he is wont to do, Golola has already thrown the first jab in the war of words.

“Tugume should not forget to come with a letter from the Army commander President Museveni authorizing him to fight. Otherwise the president might accuse me of reducing the number of soldiers in the army,” he mocked his opponent.
