Kampala. The Junior Bombers’ Uganda national youth boxing team captain, Collins Mutyaba has assured boxing supporters of overwhelming victory in the African Boxing Confederation Championships due on May 5 in Casablanca Morocco.

The team of six boxers of ages 17-18 has set off today at 3pm.

Mutyaba said, “Since it is our first time to represent Uganda, we are all eager for that heavenly treat given to winners hence will work hard for medals.”

He added that coaches Patrick Lihanda and Sam Kabugo have imparted all the required skills in them and they feel good to go.

During their flag off ceremony yesterday at Kati Kati Restaurant, Lugogo, Mr Moses Muhangi, the Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) president handed over Shs1m to Juma Miiro who won bronze in the recently concluded Commonwealth Games.

Mutyaba said that they are also looking forward to that treat.
