Ssematimba, Waiswa to face Patidar
In Summary
. Lawrence Ssematimba and Charles Waiswa have jumped ship to Tornado B and will now face their former bosses Patidar Samaj at Kyambogo Oval.
A fair crowd is expected to throng Kyambogo Oval this morning to witness the biggest clash of the weekend when Patidar Samaj host Tornado B in the second week of the National Twenty20 League.
There will be several sideshows to the game as national team stars Lawrence Ssematimba and Charles Waiswa, who played for Patidar last term, will be donning the green and black of Tornado B.
“We have nothing against them (Patidar),” said Ssematimba. “We had a good time there but we have to give our best for Tornado B and ensure that we win all the time.”
Last year’s T20 semifinalists Wanderers are uncertain of national team skipper Davis Karashani’s future at the club but captain Denis Musali is confident his side will make light work of ACC at the same oval in the afternoon.
“I still have Dennis Tabby, Arnold Otwani and some new faces to bank on,” said Musali.
